It’s hard to believe that we have gotten this far. Plans are made, the car is packed. (It’s also full of gas) We will be heading out on Tuesday sometime and be arriving in Wichita on tuesday night. The plan is for the boys to meet C. on Wednesday and for all of us to spend some time with her.
Then Thursday is the big day!!!! The c-section will be in the morning and then it’s just baby time from there on out. There are so many emotions to deal with right now. I am excited, anxious, scared, thrilled and mostly just in disbelief. Maybe shock is a better word. We have tried for so long to get to this point and it’s surreal that we are here. I’m just trying to take it all in.
A little note about the benefit: Our camera batteries are charged, the memory card has lots of room, our camcorder is charged up too. So… if you want to see TONS of sweet baby luke pictures, head to the benefit next Saturday, the 12th where there is sure to be a slide show and more pictures than you’ve ever wanted to see of one person. Information about the benefit is in the post below this one. We really need a good turn out and can’t wait to see how it goes!!!!
